Welcome to St. Philip’s! We are a welcoming, friendly and growing Anglican church in Kensington, bordering Earl’s Court. We have many young families with children, but a few of us are in our 90s! Most of us live in the neighbouring streets. We celebrate our faith, but have plenty of room for those with questions and don’t discourage them.
Our Sunday service at 10.30 am is the focal point of our week’s worship. We also hold Morning Prayer on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8.00 am.
See our Calendar of Events.
We want to find imaginative ways to help people in their spiritual journeys and understanding of Christian faith. Our services draw on the resources of the Christian tradition so as to help worshippers engage more deeply with their own spiritual journeys.
Sam Wells, Vicar of St Martin in the Fields, the Church of England’s ‘Director of Ministry’, Julian Hubbard, and Martin Poulsom from Heythrop College have all been guest preachers at our church.
