Four families from St. Philip’s attended the patronal festival at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Saturday the 25th of January. Messy Cathedral was a huge success with activities all around the transepts of the main cathedral floor as well as the crypt which included a puppet show, dozens of tables of arts/crafts, and banner making. Following the afternoon activities, there was a family-friendly Eucharist that focused on loving your neighbour and the conversion of Paul.
The children were even given special biscuits to take home to celebrate the day. Surrounded by other Christians in a beautiful cathedral in the presence of God, it was a fun-filled family afternoon.
