Many thanks to everyone who contributed such a wonderful array of food for our lunch on 2 March. In addition to fantastic vegetarian and Indian dishes, we had a great mix of salads and a magnificent Spanish ham donated by Rupert and Anne Steele. Looking ahead to the start of Lent, we ended with pancakes and a delicious orange cake. As always, it was a great social occasion and made possible by the generous contributions of many people, including Peter Burney, Pat Chamberlain, Joan Vasilou, Liz Garrett, Roz Hodson, Roberto and Zoe Schiepatti-Emery, Erica Roane and Barney Palfrey. Marilyn Digby Thomas helped to set up the room and provided the flowers, and wine and juice were provided by Lesley Perry and Callum Stewart. Special thanks to Anne Steele for being the driving force behind the event.
